If you think Tom Holmen is the only person in the current administration accepting bags of cash in exchange for favors, you are mistaken. For far too long, elected officials have enriched themselves at the expense of working class Americans. We are living through one of the most corrupt periods in our nation’s history.

IT’S TIME TO ELECT THOSE OF US WHO VOW NOT TO SELL THE PUBLIC’S TRUST TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER

The New Standard “starts with one idea that government exists to serve people. Not donors, not corporations, not cable news producers, just people. We pay into it, we send our sons and daughters to die for it. We live under its laws and we should damn well expected it to show up for us with clean water, decent school, fair courts, safe Streets, and food that doesn’t send us to the hospital.”

This is the start of a list of bare minimum demands we expect of those sent to represent us in Congress that have yet to be met.

Here’s the reality in this nation:

• Housing prices through the roof
• Groceries up 25%+
• People skipping doctor visits because they can’t afford it
• The cost of fuel is making us decide between having enough gas for the week or skipping meals
• College educated professionals have a better chance at winning the lottery than landing a decent paying job

We need healthcare for All, tax the ultra-wealthy, and ban stock trading by Congress, the money to be REMOVED from politics, NOTHING LESS is acceptable.

We need politicians that come from the working class that know what it’s like to struggle so when faced with the question of whether to cut funding for schools or to give tax breaks to the most wealthy companies in our nation we have a representative that’s going to slam their fist on the table and say OVER MY DEAD BODY and actually mean it.

For far too long politicians have promised us the world only to turn around and sell the public’s trust to the highest bidder. I don’t blame you for not believing another stump speech but I assure you that with your support and the support of fellow like minded candidates REFUSING TO ACCEPT NOTHING LESS we shall prevail against the Washington elites who have reaped the benefit of our hard work to turn their elected positions into money printing machines for their self enrichment.

There is NOTHING these incumbents fear more than the solidarity of working class of Americans coming together. It’s why they push headlines meant to enrage us, to keep us divided, to keep us questioning our fellow Americans. The time has come and we’re not looking left and right but STRAIGHT UP at those who have failed us for the last time.
